EDUCATION ADVOCACY + DISABILITY SUPPORT | BRISBANE + ONLINE

Educational support for the situation in front of you.

You might know exactly what you need.

You might also be staring at a school email, an allied health report or an upcoming meeting thinking, I know something needs attention. I have absolutely no idea what kind of help I’m looking for.

Both are completely valid places to start.

Honeycomb provides education advocacy and disability support for Brisbane families navigating school, disability and neurodivergence, alongside schools and early childhood settings wanting practical professional support

You’re done with conversations that produce a lot of words and very little movement.

You want to understand what was discussed.

You want to know what the professional recommendations mean for school.

You want the right information to reach the people who need it.

You want to prepare for important changes before everybody is playing catch-up.

And you want to spend less energy deciphering the system so you can focus on your child.

FROM A HONEYCOMB FAMILY

“Bronnie stepped in at a time when I really needed someone to help me navigate what was happening."

Different situations need different kinds of support.

Best for you if:

Bronnie can help you prepare and attend alongside you as your school advocate, speaking up around your child's disability, inclusion and supports while helping you follow what is being discussed.

YOU WANT BRONNIE BESIDE YOU IN THE SCHOOL MEETING
School Meeting Advocacy & Support
Transition
Support

Best for you if:

Support can include bringing together family information, education reports and allied health recommendations, preparing suggested supports and, for high school transitions, helping families explore school fit, interviews and conversations about what their child may need.

YOUR CHILD IS PREPARING TO START PREP OR MOVE INTO HIGH SCHOOL AND YOU WANT THE NEXT SCHOOL TO HAVE STRONGER INFORMATION FROM THE BEGINNING
Adjustment & Support Planning

Best for you if:

Bronnie can work from recommendations provided by educational psychologists, OTs, speech pathologists and other allied health professionals, then organise relevant suggestions into a practical template of reasonable adjustments for school or inclusion-team conversations.

YOU HAVE PROFESSIONAL REPORTS OR RECOMMENDATIONS AND WANT HELP TURNING THEM INTO SOMETHING YOU CAN CONFIDENTLY TAKE TO SCHOOL YOURSELF
Educational Consultancy & Professional Development

Best for you if:

Honeycomb provides tailored professional development, including autism and neurodivergence training for educators, covering child development, language, documentation and practical education support.

YOU LEAD A SCHOOL OR EARLY CHILDHOOD SETTING AND WANT NEURODIVERGENCE EDUCATION SHAPED AROUND THE ISSUES YOUR TEAM IS ACTUALLY DEALING WITH

Good support reduces the confusion instead of adding another layer to interpret.

WHY HONEYCOMB

A lot of Honeycomb’s work happens between different pieces of information.

A family knows what they are seeing at home.

An educator knows what is happening in the learning environment.

An OT, speech pathologist or educational psychologist may have recommendations from their own professional perspective.

Honeycomb helps make those pieces easier to work with so families and education settings can have more informed conversations about the child in front of them.

START WITH THE SITUATION

The service can come second.

ONE

Send through the context

Tell me what is happening, what you are concerned about and anything time-sensitive I should know.

TWO

I’ll help identify the most relevant support

That might be school meeting advocacy, report and adjustment planning, transition support, professional development or a combination of services.

THREE

You’ll know what is involved before we proceed

Once I understand the situation, I can explain the scope, what I need from you and the relevant cost.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE OFTEN ASK
